puredata-extra software package provides realtime computer music and graphics system - extra files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install puredata-extra
puredata-extra is installed in your system.
Make ensure the puredata-extra package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep puredata-extra *
You will get with puredata-extra package name, version, architecture and description in a table
